Auria Mission Assurance

Powerful Compliance

Auria’s innovative mission assurance strategies position customers for success in an increasingly competitive certification landscape. As a market leader in CMMC compliance and with expertise in DFARS, NIST, and proven cybersecurity risk assessments, Auria offers comprehensive solutions, addressing the evolving challenges in data security and compliance.

Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

As one of the first ten companies to achieve authorized CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) status, Auria is a market leader in assisting the Defense Industrial Base with meeting their requirements to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

Comprehensive Compliance Approach

Our three-phased approach of Plan, Assess, and Certify has been developed from more than five years of evaluating organizations and information systems for compliance with NIST SP 800-171 and performing CMMC Gap Analysis assessments.

CMMC Certification

The Auria method complies with the CMMC Assessment Process (CAP) and ensures our assessors will quickly and accurately determine an organization’s compliance with CMMC Assessment Guide practices. Our assessors work closely with the internal compliance team throughout the assessment, providing daily trending updates that allow for full visibility into the progress toward final CMMC certification.

Auria Mission Assurance Innovation and Leadership

Authorized C3PAO

As an Authorized C3PAO, Auria conducts Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessments (JSVA) and has assisted over 20 companies in achieving compliance. The DoD intends to enable C3PAOs to issue CMMC Level 2 Certifications based on JSVA results in the future. Early adopters will gain an advantage as competition increases for certification by a limited number of Authorized C3PAOs.

DFARS and NIST

Auria has more than 5 years of experience preparing efficient processes, procedures, and templates for DFARS and NIST compliance. For Defense Contractors that store CUI, DFARS 252.204-7012, and NIST SP 800-171 compliance is required. DoD is actively reviewing defense contractor attestations and, in some cases, performing spot checks to ensure compliance.

Proven Cybersecurity

As an independent third-party, Auria employs proven methods for cybersecurity risk assessments, uncovering system vulnerabilities. Statistics show that 83% of companies face data breaches, costing an average of $9.44 million. In the U.S. Cybersecurity insurance costs have surged by 30-50% since 2021, and insurers require verified safeguards for coverage (IBM Cost of a Data Breach Report, 2022).
